-
2024-2025 Tacoma i-FORCE MAX Hybrid: NOT recommended – dedicated products explicitly exclude hybrid models
⚠️ Double-Check Before Ordering:
-
Confirm your vehicle is the gas model, not the i-FORCE MAX hybrid
-
Confirm your vehicle is equipped with the factory A-OFF auto start/stop button (some trims may not have it)
Default Memory Off – No More Pressing the Button — After installation, the auto start/stop system defaults to OFF every time you start the vehicle. No need to manually press the A-OFF button each drive. If you want to temporarily re-enable start/stop, the factory button still works – just press it.
Dedicated Harness – Plug-and-Play Connector Installation — Includes a dedicated wiring harness with plug-and-play connectors. No cutting, splicing, or soldering of factory wiring required. Plugs directly inline – does not alter your vehicle's electrical system and does not trigger error codes.
Easy Installation — Remove the shifter trim panel, unplug the connector behind the A-OFF button, and insert the eliminator harness inline between the switch and the factory harness. Includes a pry tool. Takes about 3-5 minutes.
Protects Battery & Starter — Eliminates unnecessary wear on your battery and starter from frequent engine cycling. Reduces restart vibration for a smoother, more comfortable driving experience in city traffic.
