    struts so stiff it unintentionally solved the hood flex

    Fits perfect, works perfect, accidentally solved the hood wobble, a single strut can lift and hold the hood. Unknown longterm durability because of the force alone.

    This is a great accessory for the 4th gen Tacoma. They really should have been on the truck from factory. They are very powerful and you can open the hood with one finger. They fit very well and are easy to install. These are a very good price also.

    These hood struts were a simple but really useful upgrade for my Toyota Tacoma. Installation took just a few minutes with basic tools and no modifications needed.Once installed, the hood lifts smoothly and stays up securely, which makes working under the hood much easier compared to the stock prop rod.The build quality feels solid, and they hold the hood firmly without any wobble.     2024 Tacoma (non-hybrid) hood struts fit/function fine, easy to install in 20 minutes

    Overall satisfied. Bracket installation took 10 minutes on 2024 Tacoma (non-hybrid). Instructions were simple, pictures excellent. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons: Gas spring was impossible to compress by hand and length of strut was greater than factory hood support, so only way to install was to hold the hood up high with one hand while snapping rod end onto bracket balls one side at a time. Make sure the threaded rod encs are on tight, then spin the rod to align with bracket balls. Be sure to wiggle them on (as instructed) until they snap on (do not force on). Gas spring has plenty of push to both help raise then fully support the hood.
