TRAILNOX Return & Refund Policy

By placing an order through the TRAILNOX website, you agree to the terms below. We have established these policies to ensure that you are fully aware of our return and refund procedures. These policies apply to orders within the United States.

30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same new condition in which you received it, unworn or unused, with tags attached and in its original packaging. You will also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Free gifts and giveaway items are not eligible for returns. Custom orders require 10–15 days to ship and are non-refundable due to their customized nature. Our 1-year warranty still applies. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

If your return is approved, we will provide you with the return address and instructions. Please do not install the product if you are unsatisfied with it. For example, hubcaps with foam tape attached may not be accepted for return because the resale value has been affected. Please return the item in its original packaging.

Any product returned without prior approval will be refused.

Note: Items must be brand new, unused, and uninstalled to be eligible for a refund. If the return is not due to a product defect, the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

For questions, please contact us at service@trailnox.com.

Return Process

To start a return, please contact us at service@trailnox.com.

For approved returns, we will provide the return address and shipping instructions. Products must be returned at the customer's expense unless otherwise agreed upon.

Precise Fitment for Your Tacoma — Designed specifically for 2016-2023 and 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma models. Perfectly integrates with your factory tailgate structure with no impact on normal operation. Please confirm your model year before ordering.

Enhanced Security – Theft Protection — Tailgate theft is on the rise — thieves can steal a tailgate in seconds, even with factory locks in place. This lock covers and protects the tailgate hinge area, making it significantly harder for thieves to remove your tailgate.

Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Construction — Made from high-strength stainless steel with precision-cut craftsmanship. Excellent rust resistance, wear resistance, and superior strength for all weather conditions. Built to withstand brute-force attacks and corrosion better than standard materials.

Two Color Options – Match Your Truck's Style — Available in silver and black. Silver offers a classic, eye-catching finish that complements most body colors. Black provides a low-profile, stealthy look that blends perfectly with dark paint or black bumpers. Choose the color that best suits your Tacoma.

No-Drill Design – Damage-Free Installation — Secures with included security screws and installation tool. No drilling, cutting, or modifications required. A true bolt-on upgrade that installs quickly and easily.

Simple Installation – Tools Included — Comes with a dedicated screwdriver and mounting bolt — no extra tools needed. Installation takes 15-30 minutes.

Low-Cost, High-Value Protection — Tailgate replacement can cost thousands, especially for trucks with electronic components. This tailgate lock is an affordable, effective solution that provides an extra layer of security for your Tacoma.

What's Included — Comes with 1 tailgate anti-theft lock (silver or black – as selected), 1 mounting bolt, and 1 screwdriver.

Note — Fits 2016-2023 and 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma models. Tailgate structures differ slightly between generations — please confirm your year before ordering. Please select your preferred color (silver or black) at checkout. This is a mechanical security lock and does not modify your vehicle's electrical system.

Great deterrent

Great item. Easy to install. The process took about 3 minutes! A great theft deterrent.

Great fitment

Perfect fit

Tailgate security in under a minute

I received this tailgate lock anti-theft protector for my 2024 Tacoma and had it on in about 30 seconds, which is about the level of mechanical commitment I prefer after a clinic day. It uses the existing hardware on the hinge, so there’s no drilling, cutting, or fiddling with wiring, and once it’s in place it just quietly does its job guarding the tailgate from grab-and-go thieves. My first “test” was simply opening and closing the tailgate several times in the driveway to be sure it still moved smoothly, and it passed without drama. The stainless steel feels solid and should hold up well to Texas humidity and the occasional muddy trail without me needing to fuss over it. It’s a small, low-profile piece that blocks access to the hinge area, so there’s no visual clutter or rattle, and I don’t have to think about it when I toss lumber or camping gear in the bed. A practical example for me - I often leave my truck parked at the hospital lot overnight, and this gives me a bit more peace of mind that the tailgate will still be there when I walk out in the morning. One consideration that might bother some folks is that it really is just a simple bracket - no keys, electronics, or fancy gadgets - but that’s actually a plus for me since there’s nothing to program, sync, or charge. For the price, the quick install and added security make it an easy decision if you own a newer Tacoma and occasionally park in busy lots or public areas.

Works perfectly

This was easy to install, worked exactly as intended, and looks quite clean and nice. It’s a study heavy duty quality and no frills appearance. From what I’ve heard, you won’t know you need this until someone steals from your truck, so it’s worth every penny for the price of mind. Took 5 minutes to install.

Good product!

This works great as a theft deterrent. It won’t prevent theft but it would definitely detour someone that doesn’t want to make the extra effort.

Trailnox was built for Toyota owners who refuse to stay on the pavement.

We started with a simple problem — most aftermarket accessories didn’t truly fit. They were generic, poorly designed, and couldn’t handle real off-road use.

But trucks like Tacoma, Tundra, and 4Runner are built for more.

So we built Trailnox

Every product we make is designed specifically for Toyota vehicles, engineered for durability, precision fit, and real-world performance. From daily driving to the toughest trails, our gear is made to protect, perform, and last.

This isn’t just about accessories.
