Full Tail Light Solution — After installing this wiring harness, both tail lights on each side will fully illuminate when you brake (tail lights + brake lights light up together). Nighttime function remains unaffected. The braking light area increases dramatically, delivering noticeably better warning visibility.
High-Mount Brake Light Flasher — The third brake light module flashes rapidly for a few seconds when you brake, then transitions to steady red. Compared to standard brake lights, this flashing mode can buy about 0.3 seconds of extra reaction time for the driver behind you — especially valuable at highway speeds or in rain and fog.
Plug-and-Play – No Cutting or Drilling — This kit uses factory connectors that plug directly into your vehicle's existing harnesses. No wire cutting, no splicing, and no drilling. Installation is similar to a trailer wiring harness — simply remove the interior trim panel, find the matching connectors, and plug them in.

Tailgate Trim Removal: Open the hatch and remove the plastic trim cover at the top of the rear window (approx 30" wide) to access the high-mount brake light wiring

High-Mount Brake Light Wiring: Locate the purple/black wires (positive/negative). Connect the flasher module in-line, and secure the module inside the door cavity with double-sided tape

Full Tail Light Harness: Plug into the factory unused connectors. Route the wires neatly with zip ties to prevent rattles, and reinstall the trim and weather seals

Test: Start the vehicle and press the brake pedal. Confirm both tail lights illuminate fully, and the high-mount brake light flashes before going solid
